The Qatar Grand Prix 2025, held at the Losail International Circuit, saw a masterful performance from Marc Márquez. The Ducati Lenovo Team rider led the race from start to finish, taking his third win in four races this season and consolidating his position as championship leader.

Márquez, who started from pole position, maintained a consistent pace and managed his tyres to cross the finish line in first position. The eight-time world champion continues to prove that he is fully adapted to the Ducati, extracting the maximum potential from the Italian prototype at every corner of the Qatari track.

Francesco Bagnaia, his teammate, finished second in a race in which he did not find the pace necessary to fight with Márquez, although he was able to defend his position against the attacks of the chasing riders. Franco Morbidelli completed the podium with a solid third place, confirming his good start to the season. With this result, Ducati once again scored a hat-trick of podium finishes and strengthened its dominance in the premier class, while Márquez is increasingly emerging as the title favourite.

Intense battles in the middle zone

Beyond Ducati’s dominance at the front, the Qatar Grand Prix also offered excitement in the middle section of the grid, where several riders were on the edge of the field and were in constant contention for the top 10.

One of the standout names was Fermín Aldeguer, who continues to impress in his first full season in MotoGP. The Spaniard finished fifth after an intense battle with Johann Zarco, demonstrating an unusual maturity for his age and a quick adaptation to the demanding pace of the premier class. Álex Márquez also shone despite a difficult start, the Gresini Racing rider made up positions with determination, finishing sixth and scoring key points for the Ducati satellite team.

On the other hand, Pedro Acosta, in his debut year, showed once again why he is one of the great promises of world motorcycling. The KTM rider maintained a solid pace throughout the race and finished eighth after several exciting duels with more experienced riders, making it clear that he will soon be fighting for podiums. These performances confirm that the 2025 season is offering a very competitive grid, adding an extra spectacle to every round of the calendar.
